What's up April?
The Live Scene:
April and May were great months for the band as they performed on the road opening up for their friends Braddigan and Adam Ezra group at Tupelo Hall, The Middle East, Mercury Lounge and Middlebury College. They'll be traveling back to CO for a run of shows in June and look forward to playing for fans and friends at some of their favorite venues. Check out the tour page for more details.
If you haven't taken a listen **live songs from the Walnut Room and Middle East are now up and availble on the J.E. Borgen fan page!!
Studio:
Upcoming Album- Borgen has reconnected with engineer and friend John Mailloux for his third album that is slated to be released by the end of the summer. Mailloux owns and operates Bongo Beach Production's studio in Fall River and is the guiding light behind J.E.'s first record, "Outside." J.E. is excited to once again be working with him on these new set of songs. The usual suspects, Erik Privert and Dave Brohpy, lead the rhythm section and added to the mix is pedal steel aficionado, Adam Ollendorf. Borgen also hooks up with Boston based cellist and singer songwriter Larissa Maestro for a couple of the tracks. To sample a b-side version of the new song, "Your Tree," click HERE.
